- Antiseptic required for comedone loop use.Purchase a skin antiseptic. Ensure it has a "DIN or NPN" and an "antiseptic claim". Ensure it is not expired.
- 13. Is single-use or uncleanable equipment being used as intended (Critical)?
- Comedone loops with "piercing tips" are considered to be critical equipment that must be discarded after each use or sterilized using steam as its sterilant. The tool was removed from the facility at the time of inspection and will no longer be used. If desired, obtain comedone tools that do not have "piercing tips"
