    • 08. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • A bag of rice located in the lower cabinet was not sealed from contamination. Please seal or remove if not in use.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • No paper towel was observed at the hand sink. Paper towel must be available on a dispenser for drying hands after hand washing.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • 1) The base of the cupboard underneath the middle sink was in disrepair with what appeared to be previous water damage and exposed wood.2) The counter/backsplash had a gap where debris was collecting and mould was forming. Please remove any dirt/debris and seal the area to prevent water infiltration.

      • - Toddler Room Mini Fridge: temperature reading was at 14C. Fridge was turned cooler and temperature was re-taken at 10C. The fridge was observed very full with bin of kids' lunches. This may be inhibiting the cold air circulation. The bin of kids lunches were moved to the bigger fridge in the kitchen. Please continue to use the kitchen Fridge to store lunches or replace this fridge with a functioning one. Temperature must be maintained at 4C or lower at all times. PENDING: Ranya communicated this fridge will be replaced and in the meantime the kitchen fridge will be used to store lunches and food items
