    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • Four smaller piece toys were found in the toddler room. If a toy or toy part can fit through a cardboard toilet paper roll, it is a choking hazard for children under three years of age. Toys were removed from the room. Violation was corrected during the inspection.In the preschool room the chlorine spray bottle was unlabelled and store in location which was accessible to the children. Violation was corrected during the inspection.

      • The door to the kitchen was left open. All the children were within the rooms when this was observed. Ensure that the kitchen door is kept closed. Violation was corrected during the inspection.
    • 16. Does the social care facility have adequate lighting?
      • The lighting in the bathroom stall flicker once and then wouldn't turn on. Violation was corrected during the inspection.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • Diaper pad in toddler area was damaged at the end. A brand new diaper pad was placed in toddler area. Violation corrected during the inspection.

      • Toilet paper was being stored on the toilet tank in the Out of School Care washroom.Corrective Action:- Director moved these during the inspection.- Moving forward, ensure toilet paper is stored in dispensers / protected from potential contamination.
