      • The bleach/chlorine sanitizer was measured at 0ppm with bleach/chlorine test strips Ensure bleach/chlorine sanitizer is maintained at 100ppm. The operator prepared a 100ppm bleach/chlorine sanitizer during the inspection.

      • Several unlabeled spray bottles with chemicals were observed in the front service area. Please ensure all chemicals are labeled.

The facility requires organization in the back storage area and the front service area beneath the counter to help facilitate effective cleaning.1-5.       • - Cleaning brushes and sponges are not being stored in sanitizer when not in use. The cleaning brush and sponges were not in a clean and sanitary state and were discarded. Please ensure cleaning clothes, sponges and brushes are kept in sanitizer solution when not in use, to limit the growth of microorganisms.

      • - The door across from the commercial refrigeration unit (coca cola label), weatherstripping requires replacement. Please ensure weatherstripping is installed, to minimize the risk of pest entry.

      • - Evidence of mouse droppings on the floor in the dry goods storage area. Mouse droppings were observed under shelving units. No evidence of pest contamination to food products, or equipment. Please ensure the mouse dropping are removed. Please ensure proper steps are taken in the removal of the mouse dropping. E.g., Using personal protective equipment., not sweeping up the droppings, using bleach solution.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • - The exhaust hood system filters are showing an accumulation of grease build up. Please ensure staff are regularly cleaning the filters to ensure adequate ventilation of the food area that is prone to excess heat, steam, vapours, smoke and odours. Unclean exhaust hood filters increase the risk of food contamination and grease fires.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • - In the dry goods storage area boxes and other items are being stored in a disorganized fashion. Some boxes are on being stored on the floor, and therefore creating a hard to clean environment. Please ensure the dry storage area is rearranged to facilitate adequate cleaning and general organization.
