      • Written procedures for skin preparation for cleansing skin, client care in an event of an accident cut/puncture, and dual-purpose sink were not available for review. - Please ensure the written procedures for the above are available.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • The operator plans to reuse CS20 disinfectant, but test strips or high-level disinfectant log were available onsite.- Please ensure to use a test strip to verify the disinfectant is maintaining the minimum effective concentration. - Records must be kept for the date of tests (verification of minimum effective concentration), test strip results (pass/fail), dates when disinfectant was changed (for reuse period), and initials of the personal services worker who performed the activity.
