    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • An unlabelled bleach sanitizer solution was found in the washroom near the Raindrop room where diapering occurs. Corrected onsite.
    • 12. Is refuse being managed in a suitable manner?
      • The garbage bin near the small children's washroom on the main floor was heavily soiled. Please clean.
    • 17. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Critical)?
      • -Bleach sanitizer solutions were at >100 ppm chlorine in most rooms of the facility. Cleaning checklists were being maintained, however,one spray bottle with bleach sanitizer solution in the OSC room was at 0 ppm chlorine. An up-to-date cleaning checklist was not available in the OSC room, and the cleaning checklists for the OSC washrooms were not being maintained.-Ensure that cleaning and sanitizing are consistently maintained. Ensure that the bleach solution concentration is maintained at 100 ppm.-Hinges were broken on the under-sink cabinets in both the boys' and girls' washrooms. Both cabinets contained Lysol.Lock and secure cabinets with chemicals.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • -Vents were heavily dusty throughout the facility. Ensure that vents are regularly cleaned and maintained.-Large play equipment, counters, and shelves throughout the facility had visible buildup and stains, particularly in corners and crevices.Please ensure that large equipment is deeply cleaned and maintained. Ensure that large equipment is included in your regular cleaning schedule.-The wall in one stall of the small children's washroom on the main floor had a large rip, exposing the material underneath. Please repair the wall.-Large soft building blocks in the Rainbow Room were showing signs of wear and had visible stains. Please remove the building blocks.-The wooden table in the OSC room was unsealed, exposing the wood. Please remove or seal the wooden table.All surfaces should be smooth and easily cleanable. *Please ensure the ceiling blade fans in the Sunshine Room are regularly inspected and maintained to confirm they are securely mounted and dust-free.
    • 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
      • The hand sink in the OSC girls washroom had low cold and hot water pressure.
