      • 1) The change pad in the toddler room was visibly dirty and the corner was in disrepair. Replacement required.2) The straps on the chairs in the infant room were visibly dirty. Please clean.

      • Several bleach solutions throughout the centre were not labelled with their contents. Please provide labels.
    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • A child was observed using the washroom and failing to wash hands afterwards.
    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • Several ceiling tiles throughout the program were water stained. Please investigate the cause of the water staining. Conduct repairs as necessary. Replace ceiling tiles.
    • 20. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Non-Critical)?
      • BABY AND TODDLER ROOMS - Large plush stuffies were observed in the toddler room and baby room. A plush rocking horse was also observed in the baby room. Please remove from use as these items cannot be adequately cleaned.TODDLER ROOM - a small couch in the toddler room was unable to be properly cleaned and disinfected. Please provide a washable cover for the couch.

      • Illness logs are not being maintained. Illness policy was not available at the time of the inspection.

Please finish this area so that the surface can be easily cleaned.BABY AND TODDLER ROOM - wooden divider between sinks was not finished. Finishing required to ensure the surface is smooth and cleanable.

      • Use cleaning cloths were observed throughout the program but were not stored in a sanitizing solution. Please ensure cleaning cloths are being stored in an adequate sanitizing solution when not in use. Ensure sanitizing solution is labelled and out of the reach of children with no risk of spillage.
