      • Several dented cans are observed in the canned goods section which may result in potential contamination of the food. Ensure severely damaged cans with sharp dents are discarded, especially if the seals are potentially compromised. The operator discarded the dented cans during the inspection.

      • 5 bags of "aMOOza!" cheese are observed with what appears to be mold on the cheese inside the packaging. Ensure any food that is not fit for consumption, such as spoiled and/or moldy food is discarded. The operator discarded the indicated cheese products during the inspection.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • Several containers of Ricotta cheese are observed with what appears to be mold on the exterior surfaces of the containers. No mold is observed on the internal side of the clear plastic seal where the cheese is contained. The operator cleaned and sanitized the exterior surfaces of the Ricotta cheese containers during the inspection.

      • Label is inappropriate with no details of source of food. Please ensure all food items are labelled. Health Canada (HC) regulates the labelling of food products in Canada. Please confirm that the label complies with the requirements of HC.

      • - Please note that Lighters that are branded with any tobacco or vaping company names and/or logos are not permitted to be displayed in general retail stores. Having branded elements on display is considered to be a promotion as defined in the Tobacco, Smoking and Vaping Reduction Act. --Branded lighters are not permitted to be sold in general retail stores.The manager removed the branded lighters away during inspection.
