      • > Chips aisle: below the bottom row of chips.
      • > Candy aisle: behind products on the bottom row of both sides (pringles, oreos, boxed candy).
      • > Instant noodles: behind cups of noodles on the bottom row.
      • Corrective Action(s): Remove all rodent droppings:
      • > Pull all products from the bottom rows.
      • > Discard any items that have been visibily destroyed or contaminated (chewed through, holes).
      • > Clean and sanitize these areas with a 100ppm bleach solution (2mL of bleach in 1L of water).

      • Cardboard & plastic packaging, excess/discarded shelving units & miscellaneous debris noted outside in area between store & storage units. Rodent droppings noted on some discarded shelving units.
      • Corrective Action(s): Discard/remove items noted above. Area is to be kept clear so as not to create harbourage/hiding places or runways for rodents and so rodents are not attracted to this area which is near the entrance to the store & storage units.

      • Observation: - Rat droppings and nesting material noted in storage unit behind the store. This is a repeat issue from the previous inspection and is unacceptable. Unit is used for storage of extra beverages.
      • Corrective Action(s): - Remove all items from the floor of the storage unit. Clean floor to remove all droppings and nesting materials. Re-organize unit so all items are stored to facilitate cleaning and monitoring/pest control.
      • - Follow all recommendations of Pest Control Technician. [Correction date: 1 week]

      • Corrective Action(s): - Keep the storage unit door closed. Door is only to open when accessing product. It is not to be left open unattended.
      • - As per code 304, all items are to be stored off of the floor to allow for monitoring and so runways are not created.
      • - Immediately dispose of cardboard in appropropriate bins. Do not leave outside of the back door. [Correction date: today]
