      • Play equipment in question was not in use during inspection. It was observed that once play equipment is flipped over, it becomes like a rocking boat that can pose a hazard. Operator was instructed to not use the play equipment until further notice. Play equipment was to put back into storage.

      • A quaternary ammonium compound (QUAT)- based disinfectant is used throughout the facility, including diaper stations and changing mats. However, QUAT disinfectants are ineffective against non-enveloped viruses such as Norovirus. Please ensure to use 0.5% hydrogen peroxide or a bleach disinfectant for disinfecting the diapering station.An email with the report will include a copy of the Health and Safety Guide for Operators of Childcare Facilities.
