- 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
- There is a large gap underneath the back exit door that leads into shared hallway to the receiving area. The facility must be structurally sound to prevent the entry of pests. Install a door sweep or weatherstripping to prevent the entry of pests.
- 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
- 1. The light on the right side of the wok station is not in good repair. The light is flickering. Repair/replace the light and ensure light levels are adequate for food handling and to facilitate cleaning. Another light was installed and lighting levels were sufficient for safe food handling and to facilitate cleaning.2. Several lower shelves on the stainless steel table has paint that was peeling off. The surface is no longer smooth, durable, or easy to clean. Repaint the surface or remove the pain coating. Ensure the surface is maintained in good repair to facilitate cleaning.
