      • OSC Room:Two washroom toilet systems were clogged and not functioning properly. The lid of a toilet was tank was broken. Replace the broken lid.- Repair all the washrooms with defective flushing systems.

    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • *Bathroom stall lock was observed to be missing for one of the stalls. Please ensure all equipment is in good repair. *Several ceiling tiles observed to have water damage signs. One ceiling tile observed to have mold-like growing appearance. Please ensure ceiling tiles are replaced, and the source of stains is investigated, and source is being fixed/addressed.*Flooring in the bathroom was observed to be in disrepair. The floor appears to be sunken in an area in front of the toilet. Please ensure flooring is in good repair and the cause of disrepair is addressed.
    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • *Soap was not available for one of the sinks in the bathroom. Soap was refilled during the inspection.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • *Diapering mattress in disrepair. Please ensure diapering mattress is in good repair to allow cleaning and disinfection. Corrected during inspection.*Air intake vents observed to be dusty. Please ensure cleaning is completed. And HVAC system maintenance is done as per your maintenance schedule.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • *Ensure sleeping supplies are protected from contamination. Cot sheets and blankets were observed to in close contact with other individual supplies. Ensure personal supplies are always protected from contamination.

      • Only cold water was provided in the sinks in the Young Toddler 4 room (water temperature was 12.3C) and Toddler 3 washroom (hot water temperature was 13C). Please provide adequate supply of hot and cold water.

      • Only cold water was provided in the sinks in the Young Toddler 4 room (water temperature was 12.3C) and Toddler 3 washroom (hot water temperature was 13C). Please provide adequate supply of hot and cold water.
    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • Some children's bottles/cups were not labelled in Preschool 1 and Preschool 7 rooms. They were labelled during the inspection.
    • 30. Are workers washing hands when appropriate and/or in a proper manner?
      • Hand sanitizer observed in Young Preschool 6 room expired in April 2022. It was discarded during the inspection.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • The diaper pad was stored on the floor in the Preschool 1 washroom. It was removed during the inspection.
