    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • Basement was not fully and/or properly finished. Food handling area had finished walls and ceiling, but flooring was unsuitable and area was open to unfinished space. 2 compartment sink which appeared not to be installed to code, was also located in an unfinished space. Please ensure to fully and properly finish the designated space (space ideally should be in a finished room if the entire basement is not to be finished) where food and equipment washing is conducted. For basement development, please also ensure that a building permit is obtained from the City of Calgary.
