      • Observation(s): - pizza display cabinet at 40C - pizza display cabinet front temperature gauge not accurate - pizza display cabinet inside thermometer (top) was accurate - thermostat setting knob also not accurate (had to be turned up to 170F to achieve 140F inside cabinet)

      • Observation(s): Facility has no sanitizer test strips. Obtain chlorine and quats test strips.
      • F2.1A Sanitizer test strips must be available for each chemical sanitizer used at the premises.
    • F2.5 Are the premises and equipment properly maintained and operated in a sanitary manner (i.e. ongoing maintenance)?
      • Observation(s): Wiping cloths were left out on the counter. Wiping cloths must be either single use or kept in a bucket of sanitizer when not in use.
      • F2.5C Wiping cloths must be maintained and stored in a sanitary manner.

      • Observation(s): No thermometer in hot holding unit containing pizza, chicken fingers, etc. There must be a NSF thermometer placed in the hot holding unit. Hot holding temperature of soup acceptable.
      • F1.2B - Accurate thermometers must be provided to monitor equipment.
    • F2.3 - Are equipment, food contact surfaces and utensils washed, sanitized and stored in a manner that removes/prevents contamination?
      • Observation(s): Dishware is not being sanitized properly. Ensure dishes are washed, rinsed and sanitized. Sanitizing includes fully submersing all dishware in a 200ppm (1 tbsp bleach to 1 gallon of water) bleach solution or a 200ppm Quats sanitizer for a minimum of 2 minutes. Items should then air dry. Sanitizer spray bottles at acceptable concentration.
    • F3.5 - Are there handwashing stations available and properly supplied?
      • Observation(s): No paper towel at 2-compartment sink. Staff are using a cloth towel to dry hands. Hands must be dried with single use, disposable paper towel. Ensure a paper towel dispenser is mounted by the sink.
    • F3.7 - Are written food handling procedures (Food Safety Plan) current and available on site?
      • Observation(s): No Food Safety plan. Please do up a plan for a soup and chicken fingers (include all required temperatures) Template provided. Forward to me for review when completed
    • F3.8 - Are the sanitation procedures (Sanitation Plan) current and available on site?
      • Observation(s): No sanitation plan. Ensure sanitation plan is completed. Include all mixing instructions for sanitizers. Forward to me for review when completed

    Popped by to fill up our tank on the way through Armstrong. IPE was in full swing and things were very busy, so we quickly topped up and as we were about to leave a staff member flagged us down and offered us two iced coffees! Was very unexpected and such a sweet gesture. Will definitely choose to fill up here when passing through again, thank you! :)

    Clean gas station, with your membership # you get 2 cents off a litre. Regular snacks and stuff inside. Occasionally, they have nice bouquets of flowers. The yearly check you receive each spring is a bonus... even if it's only 20$ Ypu pay a one-time 10$ membership fee. Well worth it ⛽️ !

    Armstrong- Assistant manager is so rude and arrogant. We have been customers for years and loved going there. Staff has always been great. Sadly this man (Matt) has ruined it for us moving forward. If you need assistance, asking for a manager is useless. We will drive to Vernon from now on or use the other 2 stations in town.
