- There was no toilet paper in the client washroom located upstairs.Provide paper towels in a dispenser for the client washroom.

- No antiseptic was available for skin preparation prior to service. Obtain and use an appropriate antiseptic product to reduce the risk of infection and ensure compliance with skin cleansing requirements.
- 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- There was no high-level disinfectant available for reprocessing semi-critical tools. The operator explained that PreEmpt RTU, an intermediate-level disinfectant, was being used instead.Obtain and use a high-level disinfectant with a valid Drug Identification Number (DIN) for the reprocessing of semi-critical instruments such as PreEmpt CS20 or HLD5.

- The microblading needles on site did not have a lot or batch number, which is required to ensure traceability for sterility assurance.- Discontinue use of any microblading needles that do not include a lot or batch number on the packaging. Source sterile, single-use needles from a supplier that provides clearly labeled packaging with a lot number, expiry date, and manufacturer details to support traceability. - Document sterility assurance information in the client’s record, including the lot number and expiry date of the needle used.

- The operator explained that tap water is being used in the facial steamer, which may lead to mineral buildup and potential contamination. Discontinue the use of tap water in the facial steamer. Use distilled or as recommended by the manufacturer to prevent mineral buildup, reduce microbial risk, and ensure safe use on clients.
