- Written procedures are required to be filled out and kept onsite for review and reference as needed for the following:
- 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- A low-level disinfectant (i.e., Clippercide) is required for the disinfection of electric hair clippers between clients. Clippers must be brushed clean or cleaned with compressed air and visually inspected prior to the application of a disinfectant.
- 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
- The intermediate-level disinfectant (Preempt RTU) available onsite had expired. A replacement is required for footbaths and other environmental surfaces.
- 24. Are waste sharps disposed of properly?
- Facility requires a puncture resistant sharps container as razors are used on occasion.
