      • 7+ live ants were observed in a small floor area near the handwashing sink, coming from the partially missing baseboard, and inside of the cupboard below the sink.

      • The baseboard running along the bottom edge of the cupboards is damaged and/or missing in several areas, allowing entry of ants. This must be repaired and/or replaced.

      • The cooler was found to be operating at 7C. An adjustment dial could not be located by the PHI. Ensure unit can maintain 4C or colder at all times.
    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • ***The expired Food Handling Permit was displayed. Discussed the need for the FHP and it appeared that the facility was used enough to maintain the permit. A current FHP will be sent with this report.
