    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Pest control records were not available onsite at the time of inspection. Action Required:Please have in place an effective pest control program and conduct pest monitoring activities on a monthly basis to prevent conditions that may promote harborage of pests. Also keep the three most recent months' pest control reports onsite, when in operation.     • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • The floor area by the back door was in disrepair. Action required:Repair or replace the kitchen floor by January 28, 2026. Ensure floor, wall and ceiling surfaces are made of material that is smooth, durable, impervious and easily cleanable to facilitate effective cleaning procedures and to prevent conditions that may promote harborage of pests.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • The kitchen chest freezer door handle was in disrepair and fixed with masking tape by January 28, 2026.Action Required:Repair or replace the damaged freezer door handle. Ensure all food equipment is made of material that is smooth, durable, impervious and easily cleanable to facilitate effective cleaning and sanitizing procedures.

    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Home-made fruit fly traps (glasses of apple cider vinegar covered with sarap wrap were present, with numerous dead fruit flies notes inside them. No live fruit flies were noted during the inspection.REQUIRED ACTION: ensure surfaces and equipment in the bar area are cleaned and sanitized frequently. Keep beverage bottles closed to prevent attracting flies.

      • Water was found leaking from a pipe below one of the hand sinks in the women's washroom. A basin was located below the pipe to catch the dripping water.REQUIRED ACTION: repair the leaking pipe.

    • 11. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Critical)?
      • No sanitizer was detected in the final rinse cycle of the kitchen dishwasher. The bottle of sanitizer connected to the machine was empty. Staff instructed to replace the bottle, however despite after running the machine several times, no sanitizer was detected at dish level after the final rinse. REQUIRED ACTION: dishwasher is to be serviced so that 100 ppm chlorine is detected at dish level after the final rinse. All dishes and utensils are to be run through the dishwasher in the bar area, or manually washed, rinsed and sanitized in the kitchen as demonstrated using the two-compartment sink.

      • Some mouse droppings were noted in the following areas:-on the kitchen counter behind the dough mixer and meat slicer-in the cupboards next to the ice machine in the kitchen-on the lower shelving in the bar area-at the back of some of the counters in the bar areaREQUIRED ACTION: clean and sanitize the areas immediately as discussed during inspection. Contact your pest control company to notify then of the affected areas and have them implement additional control and monitoring devices as needed.
