      • The washroom in the high five room is not in good repair, the flooring is shifting from the wall.Operator mentioned that plans are already in place for repairs.Ensure floors are smooth, durable, easily cleanable and are maintained in good repair.
    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • The Hand washing sink in the crabble baby room used for dual purpose of bottle washing and hand washing.A dedicated sink for hand washing only is required in the daycare room.Staff remove the baby feeding bottle from the hand washing sink.

      • Muwd #9 is used as a disinfectant throughout the facility. The disinfectant appears to be quaternary ammonium compound (QUAT) based. QUAT disinfectants are ineffective against non-enveloped viruses such as Norovirus. Plese ensure to use a 0.5% hydrogen peroxide or a bleach disinfectant for disinfecting surfaces. A copy of the Health and Safety guide for Operators of Childcare facilities will be sent in an email with the report.
