      • The paper towel dispenser in the washroom was observed to be empty.Facility supervisor indicated that supplies have been ordered and refilled the dispenser. Ensure that all handwashing stations are maintained fully stocked with supplies, running hot and cold running water, soap, and paper towel.
    • 24. Are sleeping supplies and areas sufficient to ensure client safety and comfort (Non-Critical)?
      • Bins were observed stored directly on top of the bed cots.Facility supervisor moved the bins and stored them away from the bed cots during the inspection.Ensure that bed cots are protected from contamination by storing them in sanitary manner.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Upon verbal review of the facility's toy washing procedures, it was noted that toys are washed in one sink, rinsed in a second sink, submerged in a plastic bin containing a disinfectant solution, and then allowed to air dry. The disinfection step was not being conducted in a plumbed-in sink. Facility management was educated on the proper toy washing and disinfection procedure during the inspection. Ensure that toys are washed, rinsed, and disinfected using appropriately designated plumbed-in sinks.
