- Observed numerous small flies around the sundae topping area.Discussed with Sandya that the area must be kept cleaner. Simply covering the area over night will not help. The sundae toppings containers need to be changed every night, the shelves need to be wiped down with a sanitizer solution (the top of the shelves and the undersides as well), the sink needs to be dry overnight. Any debris of food left out, especially overnight, is just feeding the fly population.
