    • 04. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Non-Critical)?
      • *Kitchen door found open at the time of the inspection. Corrected during the inspection. Please make sure kitchen door is kept closed at all times.*Locks for the cupboards in the kitchen and rooms which chemical stored in the rooms and kitchen were left opened. Please make sure safety locks for cabinets stored hazardous materials in them are kept secured at all times to prevent any injuries.

      • In Room 2- Black shelf was not in good repair. Paint was chipping off the surface.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • Wooden stumps in each room are untreated, making them difficult to properly clean and disinfect.Treat the tops of stumps with a material that renders the surface smooth and cleanable.

      • *Wood stump had pointy parts around it. Please make sure surface of wood stump is smooth and safe for children to use.*Surface of couch was not in good repair/condition. Surface was not smooth and cleanable. Please replace it.

      • Room 1- Brown tall shelf was not secured to the wall. Please make sure shelf is properly mounted to the wall.*Dust in the toy containers. Please make sure cleaning and sanitation of the containers are completed.*Paint chipping on wall in the Rooms at multiple location. Please make sure repairs are completed. * Black leather couch was ripped at some location/ surface. Please make sure it is repaired or replaced.

      • In Room 2- Hot water taps at the sinks and sink in the washrooms were not heating up. Please make sure there is hot water at the sinks are available at all times.
