Big Box Outlet Store

It was incredibly unfortunate. I went into the Vernon big-box outlet, and to my excitement, I found the exact stove I’ve been searching for. However, it was incorrectly priced, so it wasn’t properly discounted. To make matters worse, it had damage, and the sales manager, lacking in customer service skills, refused to rectify the issue and instead tried to work around it. They acted as if the damage wasn’t a problem and simply changed the price, but it still didn’t reflect the actual damage and concerns about the appliance. I only took a few photos to send to my husband, but I should have taken a picture of the top, where there were actual scratches on the cooktop, which was a clear sign of the problem. I should have walked away from that deal anyway.

It seems like every year we find an epic deal the first year it was a two-person kayak the second year it was Christmas decor the this year was a great deal on some glass high quality solar lights for our front yard. Always a great place to go to find a good deal on clothes toiletries and camping stuff too. Shout out to Britt we are excellent customer service and positive attitude!

You truly never know whats in this store! But I always find more than I bargain for & im always surprised to see the newest inventory..... exercise some patients & take your time to really look thru the store to find some great deals. Bargains are found at big box outlet!

BE CAREFUL!!!! They lie a lot at the checkout! Every time they charge the wrong price or add items you didn’t buy. I’ve been there 7 times already, and every single time they lied at the register. always check your receipt! They apologize as if it’s accidental — seriously? Every time you “accidentally” forget the correct price or add items I didn’t even buy?

Update: I was correctly charged for the vegan jerky. Please disregard the owner reply down below. I apologize for my error. I have walked by this store many times here in Vernon, but decided to come inside. I received very friendly service, and the one guy working the shelves is very outgoing and pleasant. I almost bought a calendar pocket book but noticed it was from 2023. I think if you're selling calendars, they need to be from 2025. It is December 2024. They have a bunch of appliances, a seasonal section, and art supplies. Overall my experience was fine.

Make sure discounts are applied. Great prices. The person ahead of me and myself were initially overcharged by two different cashiers. You have to inform them the discounts for your items.

Got a great deal on outdoor patio set with fire table. Staff was good, wrapped set up and loaded it for me.

Deb and Tammy are great. We recently renovated our bedroom powder room and we bought the vanity, mirror and barn door from big box in vernon. They look feel like high end material but at a discount price. I have another bathroom to do and we have purchased a 72 inch vanity from them as well.

Great store! Lots of options. Bigger than we have in Kelowna. The lady who helped us was awesome. Will come back here for sure.
