    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • 1. During observation of the diapering procedure in the infant room, the staff member did not change gloves after removing a soiled diaper. The paper towel used underneath the infant was also not discarded and was subsequently used to sanitize the diapering surface.The Program Supervisor was informed of this observation at the conclusion of the inspection.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • 1. The grass sensory pad in the toddler room is difficult to clean and sanitize effectively due to its material.Remove and discard the grass sensory pad to ensure only items that can be adequately cleaned and sanitized are used.
    • 29. Are washrooms / bathing facilities properly constructed, maintained and supplied (Non-Critical)?
      • 1. The girls’ washroom in the preschool room did not have any toilet paper at the time of inspection.The toilet paper was replenished during the inspection.2. The toilet training seat in the preschool girls' washroom was observed to be stored on the floor beside the toilet.The toilet training seat must be stored in a sanitary manner to prevent contamination. Install a wall-mounted hook and store the seat off the floor when not in use.

      • 1. The sanitizer spray bottle located in the girls’ washroom was not in good working order. It did not dispense any sanitizer.Replace the sanitizer spray bottle.

      • - Glitters are not recommended for use by children under three years old, was observed in the classroom.*Staff discarded the Glitters. Obtain art materials that are non-toxic and safe for children's use.
    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • - The diapering tables had some dust below the mattress.*The staff cleaned and sanitized both the mattress and the table.** Please ensure that the diapering area is kept clean and sanitized at all times to prevent the risk of illness among children.
