      • * Observed a couple of wet cleaning cloths (one by back table and one by pizza prep table) not being kept inside the sanitizer solution between use.

      • Observed a box of onions (back area) directly on the floor and a bag of carrots directly on the floor in walk in cooler.

      • Used cleaning cloths were kept on food preparation surfaces when not in use. Please store cleaning cloths in a sanitizer bucket after being used.
    • 08. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • Personal items (backpacks) were stored below the shelf containing ice cream well. Please ensure that personal items are stored away from food area.
    • 09. Are chemicals stored and handled in a safe manner?
      • Sanitizer bottles were not labeled accurately with their contents. Please ensure that all spray bottles are labeled based on their contents.
    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • Food (sauces, mushrooms etc.) stored in the ice bath measured at 6C. Please ensure all high-risk foods are stored at safe temperatures (4C or less)
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • The rear door has gaps in the weatherstripping. Please install weatherstripping at the back entrance to prevent the entry of pests into the facility. Follow any recommendations made by your pest control company.

      • The door handle of the walk-in cooler was in disrepair, had a screwdriver to keep it in place. Please maintain equipment in good repair.

      • 1. Ceiling tiles around the food prep area was dusty. Please ensure that the ceiling tiles are cleaned more often to prevent contamination.2. Wall and floor behind the pizza pan box was in an unsanitary condition. Please maintain the facility in a clean and sanitary condition
