    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • -On both the Infant and Toddler Room there were hazardous craft supplies that should not be used by children of this age:-Small pom poms, stickers, googly eyes are a choking hazard-Bingo dabbers were labelled keep out of reach of children-Play dough was labelled for children 2+-Kinetic sand was labelled for children 3+Please remove all of these items.
    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • -Knives were stored on the kitchen counter accessible to children. Please ensure they are stored out of children’s reach.
    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • -The diapering counters in the Infant and Toddler Rooms were being used to store food, water bottles, craft supplies etc. The diapering counter and designated sink are a contaminated area and should not be used for anything except diapering.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • -There was a toy shopping cart stored in the washroom. Ensure that toys are not stored in the washroom.
    • 19. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Critical)?
      • -The surface under indoor elevated play equipment in the safe fall zone is unsatisfactory. The climber in the indoor gym did not have sufficient surfacing. Ensure that surfacing is installed under the climber.
    • 21. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Critical)?
      • -Hand sinks in the Pioneers Room and the Discoverers washroom only had cold water. Please ensure that cold and warm water is available.
