      • There is a large spot on the wall in the washroom downstairs shared by the preschool and OOSC program where the paint is peeling.Please ensure all surfaces are smooth and easy to clean. Repair and repaint the wall.

      • Damaged floor cover was observed in Toddler 1 classroom, the damaged floor was raised around the edges which could constitute a trip hazard.-Please repair the indicated area to prevent injury.The damaged floor was temporarily covered with adhesive tape.*Outstanding violation since last year inspection.

      • Damaged floor cover observed in small room adjacent to older preschool classroom.-Please repair to ensure good repair.

      • Some sensory material containers/bottles in baby room can be opened. The lids of these containers or bottles should be glued so that children do not have access to the content or liquid within.-Please ensure the lids of indicated containers are securely glued so that children do not have access to hazardous materials.
    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • First aid kit missing antiseptic wipes and tweezers.-Please restock the first aid kits with the required supplies.

      • 1. Dirty and stained carpets were observed in the baby, toddler 1 and preschool rooms.-Please clean or replace the indicated carpets to ensure sanitary condition.2. Layer of dirt were observed on the cubbies and wooden kitchen set in baby and toddler 1 rooms respectively.-Please clean and sanitize the indicated surfaces to ensure sanitary condition.3. Peeling surface observed on one of the toilet seats in the main floor washrooms.-Please repair or replace the indicated toilet seat to ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing.4. Damaged floor cover and peeling cabinet were observed in small room adjacent to older preschool classroom.-Please repair to ensure good repair.

      • Long tangling wires were observed in several of the facility's classrooms.-Please tape down the long wires or keep them out of reach of children to prevent the risk of entanglement.

      • A torn diapering mat was observed in the infant room.-Please replace the torn mat to ensure/facilitate proper cleaning and disinfection.

Damaged floor cover was observed in Toddler 1 classroom, the damaged floor was raised around the edges which could constitute a trip hazard.-Please repair the indicated area to prevent injury.Was informed during the inspection that a work order has been raised for the damaged flooring.2. Missing board panels were noted in the kindergarten washroom.-Please replace the missing panels to ensure sanitary condition and prevent water infiltration.3. The caulking around the handwashing sinks in the younger Preschool and kindergarten washroom were ineffective.-Please apply new silicon sealant around the indicated areas to prevent water infiltration.
