- Handwashing sinks observed without soap in a dispenser. The handwashing sink at the front of the main kitchen was not operational during inspection. Please ensure that all handwashing sinks are operational and fully equipped with soap and paper towels in appropriate dispensers to support proper hand hygiene.
- 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
- The receiving door was noted to have a gap at the bottom and requires weatherstripping to help prevent pest entry.
- 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
- Gaps were observed around the perimeter of the dishwashing counter, mop sinks, and along some baseboards which require sealing. Ensure gaps are sealed.
- 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
- Construction activity was ongoing during the visit, and multiple surfaces were noted with dust and debris. These areas must be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized prior to operation.
