    • 05. Is the chemical quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Non-Critical)?
      • Combined chlorine is lower; now 1.57ppm and no longer a strong "chloramine" smell in the pool area. Pool records indicate combined chlorine level being maintained below 1ppm but slightly higher today.Recommend combined chlorine level be kept <1ppm for bather comfort by draining off some of the pool water and replacing with fresh water. Also, encourage patrons to take a cleansing shower with soap prior to use of the pool.Total alkalinity was measured as 51ppm. To be a minimum of 60ppm. Recommend water slide be on a timer to aid in maintaining sufficient alkalinity level.
    • 10. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this pool (Non-Critical)?
      • There are holes in the side of the pool basin where the pool lights are missing. Holes to be filled in or covered to prevent any potential injuries.
    • 13. Are the general safety devices and physical conditions in this pool providing a safe environment (Non-Critical)?
      • Flow rate for waterslide pump unknown. Need to determine flow rate for waterslide pump otherwise will need to use maximum flow rate on pump curve. This would require changing the drain covers to ones that can handle a larger flow (at least 363gpm each). Current drain covers are rated for a maximum flow of only 356gpm each.Need to either install a flow meter or a vacuum and pressure gauge for the waterslide pump to determine if current drain covers are adequate or change the drain covers to ones that can handle a flow or at least 363gpm.
    • 14. Is the pool maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, good repair and are temperatures being properly regulated?
      • No flow meter and/or vacuum and pressure gauge for waterslide pump in order to determine flow rate. There is also some scum build-up on waterslide (mostly on bottom edge that is horizontal with the pool basin) and some on sliding surface. Clean these areas.
    • 17. Does the pool have adequate written policies, plans and posted rules and safety information to ensure that the pool is operating in a safe manner?
      • Anti-entrapment plan is missing information in relation to the drain covers (e.g. distance apart, installed according to manufacturer's requirements). Anti-entrapment plan needs to be completed.

    • 05. Is the chemical quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Non-Critical)?
      • Combined chlorine was measured as 2.52ppm. Combined chlorine level is to be kept as low as possible for bather comfort. Drain portion of the swimming pool or the whole pool and refill to lower combined chlorine levels. Also, encourage patrons to take a cleansing shower with soap prior to use of the pool.Total alkalinity was measured as 52ppm. To be a minimum of 60ppm. Recommend water slide be on a timer to aid in maintaining sufficient alkalinity level.
    • 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
      • pH was measured as 7.67, controller was reading 7.41; pH adjusted on controller during inspection. Acid pump then started to feed to meet setpoint on controller of 7.4.
