- Multiple disinfectants were expired including the following: 1. Pre-empt RTU expired in 2024 2. HLD5 expired in 2023 3. CS20 expired in 2024 The salon operator stated that Pre-empt RTU is used on the pedicure basins, and CS20 is used for re-usable manicure/pedicure tools. Please discard expired disinfectants and obtain new, non-expired Pre-empt RTU and CS20.

Alcohol was now being used to disinfect reusable semi-critical instruments.-Please procure and use high-level disinfectant (such as preempt HLD5 or CS20) to ensure properly cleaning and disinfection of reusable semi-critical tools such as nail clippers/cuticle remover.
