      • Hand soap pump bottle at hand sink was not working. It was replaced with a new bottle of hand soap during the inspection. Ensure hand soap and paper towels are always available at hand sink.

      • There were several towels/cloths in the kitchen used for wiping or drying. If re-usable cloths are used, they must be stored in sanitizer solution. Use only single use towels for drying hands and ensure dishes are air dried.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • 1. Vinyl baseboard was coming loose near backdoor. Re-attach.2. The edge of the shelving in the walk-in cooler had exposed particle board. Please cover/paint/finish so that it is non-porous and easy to clean.

      • Raw wood pieces were used in kitchen on work surfaces. Please paint or replace with a material that is non-porous and easy to clean. *Cited again Sept 11, 2024

      • There was no paper towel available at hand sink and staff were using a re-usable towel. The paper towel dispenser was stocked, and cloth towel removed from sink during inspection. Ensure single use paper towel is used to dry hands to prevent recontamination of clean hands.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Weatherstripping on back door was missing. Please replace to prevent pest entry.
