      • Facility specific written procedures (disinfection procedures, client care and skin preparation) were not observed. Please create facility specific written procedures. June 6, 2024;- Disinfection procedures was posted, but will be updated because RTU is currently being used for disinfection of semi-critical tools- After care instructions was posted in the service room.A copy of the AHS skin preparation and client care document will be sent to the operator with this report.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • Low level disinfectant preempt RTU) is being used to disinfect semi-critical tools.Ensure high level disinfectant (preempt cs20 or HLD5) is obtained as soon as possible. Use the indicated contact time and follow the manufacturer's instructions. Maintain records of disinfection.
    • 29. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained to allow for the safe and sanitary provision of personal services (Non-Critical)?
      • A carper floor was noted in the treatment area. Please replace the carpet with smooth, easy to clean and moisture resistant material. June 4, 2024;Operator indicated the carpet removal will begin this evening and, will inform the health unit when it is completed and ready for a reinspection.
