      • The half door and wall between room 1 & 2 is in disrepairThe door to the Calming Corner in room 2 has a hole in it Please have these areas repaired**These areas have been patched - please ensure they are painted.
    • 21. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Critical)?
      • The max hot water temperature at the diapering and washroom sink was 65C. This is far too high causing a potential scalding risk to the children. Please ensure the max hot water temperature at sink accessible to the children is 49C.Until this is fixed, please ensure children are monitored when using the sinks.**Hot water has been turned down but still ranges from 53.8C-57.1C. This is still too hot.

      • Chemicals are stored under the sinks in the individual rooms. There is a lock on the cabinets, but it is easily slid off. Please purchase a child proof lock or move the chemicals to a locked room.

      • Multiple expired items were found in the first aid kit. Please ensure these are check regularly.

    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • All handwash sinks were equipped with soap, paper towel and running warm water. *One of the rooms that had diaper age children handwash sink was located outside of area and door between spaces was being maintained closed at time. Advised that room must have handwash sink install within the area. Agreed on set timeframe to have sink installed within space and provided a few different options.

      • *Observed that the cabinet for the 2 compartment sink is showing signs of disrepair. Have the areas addressed so that all surfaces are smooth, impervious to moisture and in good repair.
    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • *Observed some of the churches food items (rice, and utensils) were being stored within the childcare area. Have church items stored separately
