    • 08. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • Containers of ketchup were observed stored directly on the floor and next to detergents in the dry storage area. The operator relocated the ketchup to a shelf. All food items must be stored at least 6 inches above the floor and away from chemicals to prevent contamination.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • A glass jug was observed in the hand sink located in the main kitchen and removed by the operator. Hand sinks must be accessible at all times and used solely for handwashing.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • The pest control records on site were not up to date. Pest control monitoring must be conducted regularly, with a checklist completed at least once a month. Please complete and forward the pest control records for the last two months.
