      • 1. Staple pins were observed throughout the facility. **Please remove all the staple pins. **Use a safe alternative (such as tape).2. Laundry detergent bottles were stored on top of the dryer in the washroom. **Please remove the above-mentioned items immediately.**Ensure laundry detergent and any other similar items are locked at all times.

      • 1. Ther safety belt (diapering station) in the back room were in disrepair. **Please repair/replace the safety belt. 2. Chlorine sanitizer test strips were not present onsite. **Please acquire a chlorine sanitizer test strips with valid expiration date.Note: As per staff, the diapering station in the back room is not currently in use.

      • **Correction**Chlorine sanitizer spray bottle diapering station measured 0 ppm in the main room. - Staff remade the 100-ppm chlorine sanitizer solution during the inspection. **Ensure chlorine sanitizer is maintained at 100 ppm at all times. **Ensure diapering stations are being wiped down with chlorine water solution after every use.

      • 1. Toilet paper roll was stored on top of the toilet tank cover.**Please install toilet paper holder.2. Chlorine sanitizer spray bottles were not labelled throughout the facility. **Ensure all spray bottles are labelled with their content to prevent cross contamination.

      • The kitchen and office were not locked and accessible to the children in the back room (19 months to 3 years old). **Please ensure these rooms are locked and inaccessible to the children. Child safety locks or door locks would be satisfactory.

      • A rocking toy was observed in the back room (19 month to 3 years old). **Please remove this toy from the room due to potential pinch points.

      • 1. There were a few items that were not age appropriate for the current children attending the facility. The entire facility is a shared space at the time of the inspection. Items such as paper clips, small hair elastics were in reach of younger children. **Ensure there are no small items that can be accessible to younger children (1 year and younger). ***CORRECTED DURING THE INSPECTION. 2. Plastic bin was cracked in the back room (19 months to 3 years old). **Remove. ***CORRECTED DURING THE INSPECTION.

      • The diapering station located in the back room (19 months to 3 years old) appeared to have food debris. **Ensure diapering station is being wiped down with bleach water disinfectant after every use. ***DISCUSSED PROPER DIAPERING PROCEDURES AT THE TIME OF THE INSPECTION.

      • Paper towel dispenser in the bathroom located in the laundry room was not working. **Repair.

      • Raw flour was being used for making play dough **Do not use raw flour. Use heat treated flour or ready to eat to make play dough. ***DISCUSSED DURING THE INSPECTION.

A rocking toy was observed in the back room (19 month to 3 years old). **Please remove this toy from the room due to potential pinch points.

      • 1. The maximum hot water temperature of all handwashing station were measured at approximately 55 degrees Celsius. **Ensure the maximum hot water temperature is 54 degrees Celsius or less. Recommend to have the maximum hot water temperature to be 49 degrees Celsius. Ensure the hot water tank is maintained at least 60 degrees Celsius therefore mixing valve may need to be installed.2. The handwashing station for the diapering station for the 3/4 year old room was clogged. **Unclog.
