Recommend that clean tools be stored in a clean container or in a drawer to keep them in a clean condition. The lamps for manicure were observed dirty. Those lamps must be cleaned and disinfected with a low level of disinfectant after each use.

Ensure tools be stored in a clean and sanitary condition. Nail lamps were observed dirty. Nail lamps must be properly cleaned and disinfected with an at least a low level of disinfectant after each use. Foil cover must be changed after each client as well.

- No work surface was made available for the storage of used devices. A cart can be used to store used devices temporarily at the right side of the reprocessing sink to ease one way flow.
- 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this personal services facility (Critical)?
- The facility has been using a Preempt CS 20 to disinfect all the semi-critical devices. However, the disinfectant could be used for multiple times during the day after it is poured out of the original bottle or the poured out portion of disinfectant could be used for several days. Ensure that manufacturer's instructions be followed and the poured out portion of disinfectant can only be used for not more than 14 days. The container used to store the poured out disinfectant must be labeled with beyond use date. The concentration of the poured out disinfectant must be tested with a proper test strip each time prior to use and concentration must be recorded each time as well. The recording template was provided to the operator.
