      • Small flies were noted particularly in the dishwashing area. - Please thoroughly clean the area including drainage lines and contact professional pest control company to eliminate the flies.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • 1. Light fixture above the dishwashing area was not covered.- Ensure lights used in the facility are shatterproof or have covers over them.2. Caulking around the dishwashing sink and prep sinks was visibly dirty and peeling off.- Replace the caulking and ensure it is made of material that is smooth, durable, and easy to clean.

      • Expired food items, six containers of lemonade (lemon/lime juice), were found stored in the walk-in cooler during the inspection. These products were past their labeled best-before dates and were discarded by operator at the time of inspection.- Maintain proper stock rotation practices (e.g., FIFO – First In, First Out) to prevent the storage and use of expired products.
