      • High-level disinfection test strips are not purchased, and a concentration disinfection log is not maintained. Please ensure that test strips are purchased, and the provided disinfection log is being maintained.

    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • Reprocessing of reusable items procedure was demonstrated during the inspection.Reusable items (eg. nail clippers, cuticle pushers) are submerged in Pre-Empt CS20 solution for 20 minutes after scrubbing and rinsing in the reprocessing sink.However, although the high-level disinfectant was being switched out every 14 days, daily testing was not being conducted/recorded. Please ensure the high-level disinfectant is tested daily and test results are recorded.
