- *Debris was observed inside the Barbicide disinfectant jar. The operator reported that the Barbicide solution was not prepared daily. The PHI reviewed the manufacturer's instructions with the operator, which state that the disinfectant must be prepared fresh daily at a concentration of 62.5 mL per 1 L of water. Discard the contaminated solution and ensure Barbicide is prepared fresh each day according to the manufacturer's instructions. The contaminated solution was discarded and remade by the operator during the inspection.
