    • 04. Is the chemical quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Critical)?
      • pH was too high: 8.16. Requirement: Decrease the pH to the acceptable range of 6.8-7.6.
    • 05. Is the chemical quality of the water in this pool satisfactory (Non-Critical)?
      • The combined chlorine could not be measured during the inspection as the total chlorine was too high.Requirement: Please decrease the free available chlorine concentration so that the combined chlorine can be measured.
    • 07. Are the filtration, circulation and disinfection systems used to maintain water quality working properly (Non-Critical)?
      • 1. There was discrepancy between the manual pool chemistry readings and the automated controller chemistry readings.Manual pH was: 8.16Automated Controller pH was: 7.62. Staff indicated that they did not know how to calibrate the automated controller.3. The flow meter was not operational and could not be read for the flow.Requirements:- Please calibrate the automated control system and change/clean the probes as needed. Ensure that the manual pool chemistry readings and the automated controller chemistry readings match. -Ensure that staff are trained on how to calibrate the automatic controller.-Repair the flow meter and ensure the flow is maintained between the minimum and maximum specified.

      • According to the anti-entrapment plan, the water flow rate in the whirlpool exceeds the maximum flow rate of the main drain covers (as specified by the manufacturer). Inspectors were unable to see the flow to verify.Requirement:-Verify the flow and replace the drain covers if needed.- Ensure that the maximum flow rating of the main drain covers is not exceeded.
    • 13. Are the general safety devices and physical conditions in this pool providing a safe environment (Non-Critical)?
      • The only clock available is not able to be viewed from the whirlpool and is also broken.Requirement: Repair or replace the clock and relocate it so it can be easily viewed when sitting in the whirlpool.

      • 1. Finish on a small section of the bottom of the whirlpool basin was damaged and appeared rough. 2. Build-up of grime on the scum line of the pool and inside the skimmer. Sand noted on the bottom of the pool.Requirements:-Please refinish the damaged area on the bottom of the whirlpool. Ensure that the surface is smooth.-Increase frequency of cleaning of the scum line, inside of the skimmers and the vacuuming of the pool. Ensure that the pool is maintained in a clean and sanitary manner.

      • The water sample collected on July 28, 2025, was not tested because the sample was received more than 24 hours after collection.**OUTSTANDING (2025-08-28). A water sample was still not received for bacteriological water testing. The manager-on-duty mentioned that they had a recent change of management and a new pool operator. Please ensure that a water sample is submitted at least once weekly using the correct Access Number (provided).

      • The Free Available Chlorine (FAC) concentration was measured at 1.95 ppm. Please ensure that the FAC concentration is maintained at or above 2.0 ppm at all times.
