      • During the inspection, it was observed that the chest freezer contained pieces of meat that had been repackaged into unlabelled plastic bags. Staff reported that these items were left behind by the previous owners and will be removed as soon as possible. Staff were instructed to post signage on the freezer indicating “Not for Sale” and to ensure the items are removed promptly.Ensure all food products must be obtained from approved sources, supported by receipts, and properly labeled.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • The ice scoop was observed stored on top of the ice machine. Staff were instructed to store the scoop in a clean, designated container to prevent contamination.Ensure the ice scoop is always stored in a sanitary manner, such as in a clean container or holder, to protect it from contamination and maintain proper food‑handling practices.
