      • Post-service, equipment is stored in a dry container. It is recommended to use a container filled with detergent and water for storing used tools, as this helps facilitate the cleaning process and prevents debris from drying on the equipment.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • The high-level disinfectant in use was CS20 and was not expired; however, test strips were not available.Please ensure test strips are on hand to confirm that the CS20 solution maintains sufficient concentration, allowing reuse for up to 14 days. Please utilize the provided High-Level Disinfectant Log to document each instance of equipment reprocessing and the use of high-level disinfectants.
