    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • The kitchen entrance door has a gap at the bottom that allow pests to enter the food premises. - Install weather stripping on the door to ensure they are properly sealed to prevent further pest entry.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Mice droppings and shredded insulating material were found inside stove drawers and on the floor beneath the stove.• Clean and sanitize all areas contaminated with mouse droppings and shredded materials using an approved bleach solution.• Install and maintain pest control traps throughout the facility to monitor and control rodent activity.• Remove unused or unnecessary items from the kitchen, as clutter provides harborage for mice.• Store all dry food products in pest‑proof containers with tight‑fitting lids.• Ensure all exterior doors are properly fitted with intact weather stripping to prevent pest entry into the facility.
