Please ensure that a probe thermometer is obtained and used to confirm final reheating/cooking temperatures of food. Reheated or cooked foods should be heated to a minimum of 74C or greater, and hot-held at 60C or greater.

      • Chlorine test strips were not available at the time of inspection.Please ensure that testing equipment is available for monitoring and confirming concentrations of food grade sanitizer.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • Self-closing mechanisms were not observed to be installed for washrooms that open directly into the food preparation area.Please ensure that a self-closing mechanism is installed for any washrooms that open into a food preparation area.

    • 08. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • A couple of cases of drinks were observed to be stored on the floor of the dry storage drinks area. The cases of drinks were then moved onto a drink tray after a discussion with staff.Please ensure that food/drinks are stored at least 6 inches off of the floor to prevent the contamination of food.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • A ceiling tile in the drink-dry storage area was observed to be misplaced. The tile was then replaced after a conversation with staff.Please ensure that all facility surfaces are smooth, non-absorbent, and easy to clean.
