      • The handwashing sinks in the laser room & facial room did not contain single-use towels. Supply all handwashing sinks with single-use cloth towels or papertowel.

      • The expiry date for the Medi Care 70% isopropyl alcohol spray (NPN: 80021572) was worn off and/or not legible. Operator agreed to discard product at time of inspection.

      • The comedone loops with "piercing tips" is considered to be critical equipment that must be discarded after each use or sterilized using steam as its sterilant. The tools were removed from the facility upon request.

      • A sharps container is required in the laser room for single-use razor blade disposal. Obtain a sharps container with a tight-fitting lid.

Most high-level disinfectants have a 14 to 30-day reuse period but you must also retain proper indicator test strips and keep High Level Disinfectant (HLD) logs. HLD log templates were provided at the time of inspection.2. Obtain two (2) small, inexpensive clear plastic/glass trays with a lid to soak semi-critical equipment in the high-level disinfectant. You must be able to visually confirm tools are being fully immersed.

      • 1. A high-level disinfectant is required for disinfection of semi-critical equipment (i.e. eyelash extension tweezers, comedone loop). Purchase a high-level disinfectant. 2. Purchase proper high-level indicator test strips. Most high-level disinfectants have a 14 to 30-day reuse period but you must also retain proper indicator test strips and keep High Level Disinfectant (HLD) logs. HLD log templates were provided at the time of inspection.3. Obtain two (2) small, inexpensive clear plastic/glass trays with a lid to soak semi-critical equipment in the high-level disinfectant. You must be able to visually confirm tools are being fully immersed.

      • The lancets used for facial extractions were missing sterility assurance claims and were removed from the facility.Lancets previously used for injection services had expired and were removed from the facility. Injection services are no longer being offered.
