      • Observation(s): Cleaner was being used to wash counters but no sanitizer was being used. Quats was located on premise and operator will make a batch to use in place of general cleaner. Please ensure quats levels are between 200-400ppm for proper sanitizing action.

      • Observation(s): No dishwasher test strips or thermometer to determine the final rinse temperature (gauge was not showing temperature either)

      • Observation(s): diluted Spirit II was used to clean counters and surfaces; this is a product that needs to be rinsed off. Ensure a proper food grade sanitizer is available at all times and is properly labelled

    One of my favourite wineries to visit in the South Okanagan. The most beautiful views paired with incredible wines. Their Chardonnay and Rose are always delicious for summer. Also enjoy their Heritage and Malbec for the reds. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. This is a definite must stop when you’re in the area.

    French Door Winery is absolutely beautiful. The setting is stunning, the wines are excellent, and the entire experience feels relaxed and welcoming. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and made our tasting feel personal rather than rushed. Such a wonderful place to spend an afternoon — we’ll definitely be back.

    This is a late review , sorry to Brandon the manager of French door, on July 14 my wife and I rode in on our bicycle and I had a flat tire around closing time, but we had amazing time tasting wine. When it came down to leaving, Brandon offered us a ride back to our hotel. The experience was awesome. Great wine, amazing views and a hell of a good time. Highly recommend going to this winery. One suggestion bring a spare tube.

    French Door Winery was one of the highlights of our time in Osoyoos. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made both us and our dog feel right at home. The winery itself is beautiful, with a stunning building, a relaxing patio, and a fantastic view that makes it the perfect place to enjoy a tasting. The wines were excellent, with a great selection of both individual varietals and creative blends. What really stood out was how knowledgeable and passionate the staff were. They took the time to share the stories behind the wines and made the experience feel memorable. A must-visit winery in Osoyoos — great wine, beautiful surroundings, and genuinely wonderful hospitality.

    Great views from the outdoor patio and nicely appointed tasting room. Reasonable tasting fees of $20 or $30 (not applicable to wine purchases in BC). Charles was very knowledgable and great at interactivley sharing insights into the wine making techniques employed at French Door, even for those with existing knowledge of wine making and wines. The wines were good, with my fave being their latest Cabernet Franc.
