      • A plastic cup with no handle was used as a scoop for the ice machine. The operator removed the cup during the inspection. Ensure that the scoop for the ice machine has a handle, and is stored so that the scoop is not in contact with the ice.
    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • There was no thermometer inside the refrigerator to measure the ambient temperature. The internal temperature measured 3.8C during the inspection. Ensure that there is a thermometer available to measure the ambient temperature of the unit at all times.
    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • No test strips were available to measure dishwashing sanitizer concentration. Ensure that test strips are available for staff so that they are able to make sure the concentration is correct.
