    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • 1. One station of approximately seven actively used stations had a Barbicide container for equipment disinfection.- Ensure Barbicide in adequate quantity and concentration is located at each station. Combs must be disinfected after each client at a minimum, and Barbicide must be changed at regular intervals and mixed according to manufacturer's specifications.2. Preempt RTU available as a surface disinfectant, all bottles had expired in 2022.- Do not use expired product. Obtain new disinfectant for surface disinfection and ensure chairs, hair washing sinks and other areas clients contact are disinfected after each client.
