Staff indicated that this was to protect the hands from splinters in the wooden handle.Please ensure that your equipment is smooth and non-absorbent to ensure thorough, proper cleaning and sanitation. 2. Meat slicer is visibly dirty with dust and filth. Please clean take apart the removable components of the slicer to clean with soap and water before soaking in a sanitizer solution for 2 minutes and air drying.
