    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • Disinfectant was not available for tables or high touch surfaces. Staff was not able to provide disinfectant - indicated alcohol wipes are used for tables.
    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • The operator indicated than hand sanitizers are used for clients' hand hygiene before meals. Please be advised that handwashing with soap and water is required before meals with exception to situations where there is no access to hand washing sinks (during field trips or outdoor activities) in which case hand sanitizers and wipes are allowed.
    • 15. Is laundry being properly handled in a suitable manner?
      • Soft items were noted to be available (Stuffed animals). Staff indicated that the soft items are not laundered but kept sprayed.Please ensure that all soft items are laundered weekly OR remove from center.
    • 19. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Critical)?
      • Disinfectant for toy washing was not available. Staff was unaware of bleach concentration or use(bleach available onsite).Please provide updated toy washing and cleaning checklist procedures for program.
    • 31. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Critical)?
      • Staff was not able to provide illness tracking form. Information regarding reporting illnesses was not available.Guide for reporting outbreaks in childcare facilities to be provided with illness tracking form.Please ensure all illnesses are being recorded (when children are symptomatic at center or when they are kept home). Please provide a current copy of the illness policy for staff and children and ensure all parents and staff are aware of the policy.
